Every piece in the dvyjns locker is made to order. When ye place an order, we send it to our print partners who produce and ship it fresh from the dock. Because nothing sits in inventory, shipping happens in two stages: production, then transit. Here's what to expect.
Production time
Every order enters production within 24 hours of being placed. Production typically takes 3–7 business days before the order ships. This is when yer shirt is being printed, dried, quality-checked, and packed.
Production time does NOT include the time spent in transit after the package leaves our partners' facilities. Total time from order to delivery is production time plus shipping time.
Shipping times (after production)
Once yer order ships, ye'll receive a tracking number by email. Estimated transit times from when the package leaves the dock:
United States:
- Standard shipping: 3–5 business days
- Expedited shipping (if available): 2–3 business days
Canada:
- Standard shipping: 5–10 business days
International (UK, EU, Australia, and select other countries):
- Standard shipping: 10–20 business days
- Customs delays may extend this further
These are estimates from our shipping carriers, not guarantees. Weather, customs, and carrier delays can extend delivery times beyond these windows.
Total estimated time from order to delivery
For most US orders: 6–12 business days total (production + shipping). For most international orders: 13–27 business days total.
We know that's longer than Amazon. We're a small operation making each shirt to order, not pulling from a warehouse. Plan ahead if ye need yer order by a specific date.
Shipping costs
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on yer order weight, size, and destination. We don't hide costs in product pricing — what ye see at checkout is what ye pay.
Free shipping promotions, when offered, will be clearly noted on the site or applied automatically at checkout.
Tracking yer order
Once yer order ships, ye'll receive an email with tracking information. Click the tracking link to follow yer package's journey from the dock to yer door.
If ye don't receive tracking within 7 business days of placing yer order, check yer spam folder first. If still nothing, email us at ahoy@dvyjns.com with yer order number and we'll send word.
Shipping carriers
We ship through our print partners' carriers, which typically include USPS, UPS, DHL, and FedEx, depending on yer location and the production facility. Specific carrier varies by order.
Shipping to multiple addresses
We can only ship each order to one address. If ye need to send orders to multiple recipients (gifts, separate locations, etc.), please place separate orders.
Address accuracy
Ye are responsible for providing an accurate, complete shipping address at checkout. Please double-check:
- Street number and name
- Apartment, suite, or unit number
- City, state, and ZIP code
- Country
If a package is returned to sender due to an incorrect or incomplete address, ye are responsible for any reshipping costs. We'll contact ye to confirm the corrected address and arrange a new shipment at yer expense.
Failed delivery attempts
If the carrier attempts delivery and ye're not available, they'll typically leave a notice and either reattempt delivery or hold the package at a local pickup location. It's yer responsibility to retrieve the package or coordinate with the carrier.
If a package is returned to sender due to failed delivery attempts or unclaimed pickup, the same reshipping cost rules apply — ye'll need to cover reshipment.
Lost packages
If yer tracking shows the package as "delivered" but ye haven't received it:
- Check with yer local carrier and ask the neighbors first
- Wait 2–3 business days — carriers sometimes mark deliveries early
- If it still hasn't surfaced, email us at ahoy@dvyjns.com with yer order number
If a package is confirmed lost in transit (i.e., tracking shows it never reached ye), we'll send a replacement or issue a refund at no cost to ye. This is covered under our Returns & Refunds policy.
Packages confirmed delivered but reported missing (e.g., porch theft) are not covered. We recommend ordering to a secure address or considering optional shipping insurance if it's available at checkout.
Damaged in shipping
If yer order arrives with visible damage:
- Take photos of the package and the damaged product before doing anything else
- Email us at ahoy@dvyjns.com within 7 days of delivery with the photos and yer order number
- We'll arrange a replacement at no cost to ye

International orders — customs, duties, and taxes
If ye're ordering from outside the United States, yer order may be subject to import duties, customs taxes, and fees imposed by yer country's customs authority. These charges are NOT included in the order total or shipping cost.
Ye are responsible for paying any customs charges, duties, or taxes imposed by yer country. We have no control over these charges and can't predict what they'll be.
If ye refuse a package due to customs charges and the package is returned to sender, ye are not eligible for a refund of the original shipping cost, and ye may be responsible for the return shipping cost as well.
Different countries have different thresholds and rules. Check with yer local customs office if ye're unsure about potential charges before ordering.
Order changes after placement
We start production within hours of yer order being placed, which means changes are difficult or impossible after the fact:
- Address changes: Email ahoy@dvyjns.com immediately. We'll do our best to update the address if production hasn't started, but we can't guarantee changes after the order has been placed.
- Size or product changes: Same as above. The earlier ye reach us, the better the odds we can adjust before production begins.
- Cancellations: We can only cancel orders within 2 hours of purchase. See our Returns & Refunds policy for details.
Shipping during high-volume periods
During the holiday season (November–December), new product launches, and major sale events, production and shipping times may be longer than usual. We'll do our best to note these delays prominently on the site and in order confirmation emails.
If ye're ordering for a gift or specific date, plan ahead — we'd rather ye have yer dvyjns in time than rush a shipment that won't make it.
Pre-orders
If a product is listed as available for pre-order, the estimated ship date will be noted on the product page. Pre-order items typically ship within the estimated window but may be delayed depending on production schedules. Ye'll be charged for pre-orders at the time of purchase, not at the time of shipment.
